Solutions Marketing Group Partners With Butler New Media
To Provide ComprehensiveMarketing Services

Washington, DC  –   Solutions Marketing Group and Butler New Media have announced a partnership that will provide comprehensive services that align business clients with the spending power of the disability market.

There are over 54 million Americans with disabilities and they control  $220 billion in annual discretionary spending power. Savvy CEO’s are targeting this disability market and reaping bottom line benefits.  Yet the majority of US companies have not found the means to access the disability market and reap the lucrative benefits.  Sometimes stereotypes and myths about people with disabilities prevent segments of corporate America from realizing available profits.

Solutions Marketing Group has been opening the disability market to its business clients since 1998 through offering strategic direction, a broad spectrum of qualitative and quantitative research services, mainstream and grassroots communication, event management, diversity employment services, creative services, direct mail promotion, and education and training.  A sampling of clients includes Darden Restaurants, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America,  Inland Empire Health Plan, Carlson Hotels, and ESPN.

Butler New Media is a full service disability-consulting firm specializing in IT Solutions and the creation of accessible web design and implementation. The Georgia based firm specializes in marketing, consulting and Section 508 compliance. They created the first National Ability panels for product research and testing with the disability community. Recently Butler New Media partnered with GFK Mystery Shopping to create America’s largest mystery shopping initiative utilizing people with disabilities.  Some of Butler New Media’s clients include Microsoft, Humana, U.S. Department of Labor, and the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation.

“We are excited about this partnership with New Butler Media,” states Carmen Jones, Founder and President of Solutions Marketing Group.  “It allows both groups to expand and deepen the individualized marketing services we provide to clients.  People with disabilities come from all income levels, races and ages. But whether the salary is $200,000 or fixed income, they still need products and services.  Solutions Marketing Group and Butler New Media can help any business access the disability community and insure that it is their products and services that are purchase,” she continues.

“Although most businesses try to treat individuals with disabilities with respect and dignity, many, unfortunately, get it wrong,” adds Cornelius Butler, co-founder of Butler New Media LLC and a recognized leader in the community.  “Our partnership with Solutions Marketing Group will provide companies with the invaluable insight needed to not only improve customer service, but also help them target a new, loyal and dedicated customer base. Addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities should no longer be viewed as an obligation but a smart business decision as this group represents more than 50 million Americans. “
